Paul L. Cole, Founder

Paul is the founder of SoCal General Insurance Agency Services. Paul guides potential clients through the ever complex insurance field to create the best policy to fit the business or individual needs. Paul takes great pride in knowing his clients by name and not by a number.

Prior to SoCal General Insurance Agency, Paul was in the Geotechnical Engineering Field for 34 years. Although the type of work was different dealing with clients is the same. The last four years he was project manager who was in charge of over 1 million dollars each year of special inspection for construction projects. Paul was in charge of obtaining new work, managing the project to stay in budget, and billing. Paul maintained contact with the owner, contractor and city personal  during construction for each project he was involved. The projects consisted of a variety of different construction. New construction of Costco, Target, Circuit City, Walgreens, Joe’s Crab Shack just to list of few. Work included Long Beach piers reconstruction to City Street design and reconstruction Water Treatment Plants. Paul’s work included reconstruction of the 710 Freeway and the Long Beach Air Port main runway 30 and several taxi ways.

Paul additional duties included being the Operation Manger for the Los Angeles and Orange County Region for 70 special inspectors who work on the building construction  and geotechnical technicians’ who work with the earth moving equipment to construct building pads, parking lots, and various streets.

Paul’s has extensive expertise through his past work makes him a valuable consultant for his clients. There is no condition too big for Paul to help his client.

• Paul spent three years in the US Army during the late 1960 and Early 1970.
• Graduated from California State University, Fullerton
• Belongs to the National Underwriters Associations (NAHU) (CAHU) and (OCAHU)
• Paul is affiliation with the Down Town Anaheim Association who participates in the various events that are held each year to include Easter Bunny Pictures, 5 K run, Christmas Tree Lighting.
